New e-Passport System Implementation

Zimbabwe has successfully implemented the new e-passport system at all diplomatic missions worldwide. All new passport applications will now be processed using the electronic passport system, which offers enhanced security features and faster processing times.

Important: Old passport applications are no longer accepted. Please use the new Form PD2 for all passport applications.

COVID-19 Travel Requirements

Current Status: Normal Operations

Most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted. However, travelers are advised to check current health guidelines before travel.

Entry Requirements:
  • Valid passport and visa (if required)
  • Proof of yellow fever vaccination (from endemic areas)
  • Health insurance recommended
