Zimbabwe Passport Renewal Services
Important Notice
Zimbabwe now issues e-passports only. The processing time is typically 6-8 weeks. Emergency travel documents are available for urgent cases.
Required Documents
- Current/expired Zimbabwe passport (original)
- National ID (original and copy)
- Birth certificate (original long form)
- Marriage certificate (if name changed)
- 2 passport photos (recent, color, white background)
- Completed Form PD2 (passport application form)
- Proof of residence (utility bill or bank statement)
- Police clearance (for first-time adult applicants)

Application Process
Gather Documents
Collect all required documents listed above. Ensure all documents are valid and certified where necessary.
Complete Application Form
Download and complete Form PD2. Ensure all information matches your supporting documents exactly.
Book Appointment
Contact your nearest Zimbabwe embassy to book an appointment. Some embassies allow online booking.
Submit Application
Attend your appointment in person. Biometric data (fingerprints and photo) will be captured.
Track & Collect
You'll receive a tracking number. The embassy will contact you when your passport is ready for collection.
Important Notes
- Children under 16: Must be accompanied by both parents or have notarized consent
- Lost passport: Police report required from country where passport was lost
- Damaged passport: Bring the damaged passport; additional fees may apply
- Name change: Legal documentation required (marriage/divorce certificate, deed poll)
- Dual citizenship: Zimbabwe allows dual citizenship; declare other nationalities
